Koo Koo hired us to create a short sketch to appear as a vignette in their new season of Oh Yeah Heck Yeah!
THE VISION:
Neil and Bryan from Koo Koo wanted to include vignettes between their sketches for their show. They gave us full creative control here, our only requirement was that it was quick and simple - something 1-2 minutes long, and that they would love something subversive to match the tone of OYHY.
THE PITCH:
We brainstormed a rough idea and sent them a video to explain what we were thinking. They both loved it and had no notes, so we got to filming!
THE EXECUTION:
We filmed the “Stanley Says” portion right in our living room! We moved our couch and coffee table and set up our stage.
We filmed The Social Network scene in our friend’s wine bar, and another friend helped us film!
We had SO much fun filming this and are very happy with how it turned out!
THE RESULTS:
Our vignette premiered in Episode 1 of Season 2!
